The One Stop Solution for Underfloor Heating

Studies suggest that the most comfortable heat profile is where the temperature is warmest at low level and reduces as it rises towards the ceiling. Underfloor heating produces a profile, which is closest to this ideal.

The performance or output from an underfloor heating system is measured in watts per square metre.  In general, the maximum output obtained from a solid screed floor is 100 w/m2 where the ambient temperature is 20ºC.  However, with current building regulations and designs, heat requirements can often be achieved with much lower outputs.

The floor finish or covering will have an effect on the performance of the floor and this should be considered at an early stage and allowed for in the design.
